South-East Grand Prix R6 – East London
Seven of the Club’s younger riders were at East London for Round 6 of the South East Grand Prix. Racing at the track which is rarely used but in excellent condition, it was good to hear that plans are afoot for a return to regular racing there.
Luca El-Labany continued to be invincible at Under-10 level winning with ease while his sister Nyla came runner-up in the Under-8s, all this while their father Sacha was on a charity ride from London to Paris!! Aiesha Musa and Amelia Dodson finished second and third in the Girls category.
Others taking part were Austin Brailey and Oscar Copeland, 7th and 8th in the Under-10s, and Will Clarke, 6th in the Under-14s.
