Norwich Stars B v Hethersett Hawks B
Racing close in midweek when the Hawks B team travelled to Eaton Park for a Division 2 match with Norwich B. Norwich looked stronger on paper but the Hawks led after a topsy-turvy eight heats. A calamitous 7-2 in heat 9 gave Norwich the advantage and they never lost a race after that apart from a consolation 7-3 for the Hawks in the final race. It was an entertaining evening made more so by the inclusion of the mercurial Jason Barker on his retro ladies frame! Charlie Lyth was outstanding.
